Mr. Flintoft has over 11 years of real estate experience in the disciplines of asset management and disposition, due diligence and marketing, extensive lease negotiation, development and economic feasibility analysis and other advisory services. He also has experience in investment and commercial banking.
- 1998 - Present: AECOM Technology Corporation - In late 1997, Mr. Flintoft joined AECOM Technology Corporation as its Director of Corporate Real Estate. AECOM, a privately held ESOP owned holding company for 6 architectural and engineering firms, has over 6,000 employees, 140 offices worldwide and annual sales in excess of $1.1 billion. Having established the holding company's corporate real estate department on a "virtual" basis through outsourcing to newly established and negotiated strategic alliance partners, initiatives negotiated and put in place by Mr. Flintoft resulted in immediate savings to AECOM of $1.2 million. In early 1999, Mr. Flintoft was given additional responsibilities as a Vice President within AECOM's newly created AeCOM Consulting division. AeCOM Consulting, under its marketing moniker "we build solutions", offers clients a range of highly integrated services from commercial real estate and management consulting to design / build and construction services. Mr. Flintoft's responsibilities within AeCOM Consulting include business development, account management, detailed financial analysis support for other consultants, and project finance.
- 1992 - 1997: The Flintoft Group ("TFG") - TFG was a 5+ year old firm specializing in corporate real estate strategic planning and development. TFG specialized in serving as an outsourced corporate real estate director and/or department to several companies. These companies, taken as a portfolio, represented total annual sales of $750+ MM, 115 leased or owned facilities, and 1.1+ MM square feet of leased and owned facilities across the US. TFG also assisted high net worth individuals and developers maximize value and minimize exposure from their real estate investments.
- 1990 - 1992: Lowe Enterprises - Prior to forming TFG in January 1992, Mr. Flintoft spearheaded the asset management and leasing efforts for a 321,000 square foot, Class A commercial office building complex with two 10-story towers located in Beverly Hills, California. From 1990 to 1991, while an asset manager, Mr. Flintoft assisted in the disposition/restructuring of a $600 million troubled real estate portfolio for a $6 billion life insurance company based in Massachusetts.
- 1982 - 1984: Manufacturers Hanover Trust - While working for this New York money center bank, Mr. Flintoft served as a banking officer within the banks' Financial Institutions Group. Client accounts included bank and non-bank financial institutions in eight western states; these accounts were extended $336 million in lines of credit, $1.2 billion in intra-day broker loans and other operating lines of credit in support of securities transactions.
- 1988 - 1990: The Harlan Company Inc. ("HCI") - Mr. Flintoft served as an Associate within the Advisory and Transactional Services Group of HCI, a New York City based real estate investment banking firm. He developed and marketed tenant representation services for HCI, having been an advisor to lease transactions involving over 1 million square feet of commercial office space in New York City, Philadelphia, and Maryland. Additional responsibilities included highest and best use studies and financial analyses of office, retail, residential, and mixed-use development projects.
- 1986 - 1988: Drexel Burnham Lambert - Serving as an associate within the public finance department of this Wall Street investment banking firm, Mr. Flintoft prepared new business proposals, oral presentations and speeches, advanced refunding, tender refunding and new issue debt service analyses.
Civic / Community
The Weingart Center - Member of the Board of Directors; Chairman of the Programs & Services Committee; Founder of and Board Liaison to the Chairman's Council; Past Chairman and Event Chair of The Weingart Center Partners. The Weingart Center is a 700-bed transitional housing center that provides resources to the homeless of Downtown Los Angeles to help them realize a life of self-sufficiency. At present, the Chairman's Council, chaired by Steve Soboroff, has raised $2.7 million toward a $9.3 million capital campaign goal.
UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group - Mr. Flintoft was the co-founder and first President of the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group. At present and after accounting for the UCLA Alumni Association, UCLA REAG is the University's largest affinity group with current paid membership in excess of 400. UCLA REAG's mission is to actively support the UCLA commercial real estate community and friends and support the development of the Center for Real Estate Research at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Presently, Mr. Flintoft is in charge of Board Development. At present, the following industry leaders actively serve as UCLA REAG Board Members: Gary Beban, Bill Krauch, John Long, Arthur Pearlman, Nelson Rising, George Smith and Gerry Vance Dicker.
The Center for Real Estate Research at The Anderson School - Mr. Flintoft presently serves on the Advisory Board to The Center for Real Estate Research at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
Personal
Married to Janette Schatteles Flintoft. Ms. Flintoft is a Deputy City Attorney specializing in criminal litigation and domestic violence. Ms. Flintoft is a Board Member of St. Anne's Maternity Home.

Special Interests
Mr. Flintoft enjoys biking, running, swimming, skiing, golf, tennis, camping, mountaineering, classical music, plays and the ballet. He is also a member of the California Club and the Sierra Club.
