Sharon Nakamura-Brown is Director of Business Development for The
Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate. She is responsible for the
development and promotion of the Centers outreach programs to the
industry, as well as the recruitment of support for the Centers
activities.
Prior to The Ziman Center, Sharon was Director of Operations and is
also a Co-Founder of RENTV.COM, a leading Internet-based media
company that offers news, information and marketing services for the
commercial real estate industry.
Prior to RENTV.COM, she was Vice President of Business Development at
Kennedy Wilson International (KWIC), an international commercial real
estate marketing and investment banking firm, where she specialized in
the sales of institutional quality commercial real estate assets
throughout the U.S. Prior to Kennedy Wilson International, Sharon
served as Controller and Asset Manager for R&T Development, LP, a
Japan-based real estate developer of office and resort properties in
the U.S.
Sharon is a graduate of UCLA, where she earned her bachelor's degree in
economics and is also a graduate of USC, where she earned her masters
degree in business administration. She serves on both the Board of
Directors of the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group and the USC Real Estate
Alumni Group. She is also a member of the American Institute of
Architects.
