Development Analyst

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Analyst to work out of our Las Vegas headquarters. This position will be responsible assisting the development, acquisition, capital markets and senior housing teams in all aspects of the transaction process including: entitlement submittals, financial modeling, creating of financing memoranda, design and construction.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain complex development and acquisition models for large scale multifamily and senior living projects

• Aggregate and evaluate market rent data for comparable properties analyses (rents, sale prices, occupancy, etc.)

• Create offering memoranda for both equity and debt requests

• Arrange and synthesize third party reports such as market studies, property tax analysis, etc.

• Conduct due diligence activities for new potential acquisition and developments including: the research and analysis of market factors that may influence the viability of a potential development project

• Create, manage, track and assist with execution of due diligence related activities

• Prepare and maintain the project schedules and critical dates timeline

• Prepare and communicate with third party vendors RFP opportunities

• Prepare reports for senior management on development progress and critical decision points

• Assist in preparing materials to present to Directors, Managing Directors and Investment Committee Members

• Assist development team in creating, preparing and managing other projects relating to the development, design, financing and construction of apartment senior living facilities

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Must be familiar with formulas, tables, and financial metrics), Power Point and Outlook required

• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5)

• Excellent oral, written communication skills (spelling and grammar)

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent phone skills

• Organized, able to set priorities, meet deadlines and able to multi-task

• Uncompromising attention to detail

• Able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate

• Dedicated to the field of real estate, enthusiastic approach to professional responsibilities

• Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and firm’s principals
